In an effort to make more training opportunities available to our celebrants, the Humanist Society is partnering with the Celebrant Foundation & Institute (CF&I), an international non-profit organization that teaches and certifies modern day ceremony professionals to become professional certified Life-Cycle Celebrants ®.

In this presentation, the Executive Director of CF&I, Charlotte Eulette, discusses the various educational opportunities now available to Humanist Celebrants through CF&I covering weddings, funerals, and ceremonies across the life-cycle. About the Celebrant Foundation & Institute:

The Celebrant Foundation & Institute (CF&I) is the world’s preeminent educational organization for teaching and certifying modern day ceremony professionals to become professional certified Life-Cycle Celebrants ®.

CF&I’s college-level program is taught by highly-skilled and experienced celebrant faculty via a state-of-the-art, live, on-line interactive format, and courses are offered three times each year in the summer, fall and winter. Once on board, students are rigorously schooled in the art of ritual, ceremony, cultural traditions, business, ceremonial writing and public speaking.  The certificate program is taught in English, French and soon Spanish – as students and alumni come from all over the world.

Celebrant students learn how to officiate at virtually every life event, with a focus on personalizing each ceremony to reflect the needs, beliefs and values of their clients. The majority of ceremonies include: weddings, end of life/funerals and memorials, baby welcomings, healing and transition ceremonies, and all other life-cycle rites-of-passage as well as events and milestones for individuals, couples, organizations and communities.

More than 1,500 Life-Cycle Celebrants® who are certified graduates of the Celebrant Foundation & Institute, practice their full and/or part-time Celebrant professions worldwide. In addition, CF&I has an active and supportive alumni Celebrant association which includes regional chapters and social media.  CF&I Life-Cycle Celebrants® abide by a code of ethics and a nondiscrimination policy.

Certified Life-Cycle Celebrants® officiate and preside over ceremonies

for people and beings from all walks of life.

Founded in 2001, CF&I is a nonprofit organization headquartered in New Jersey founded by Gaile and Pat Sarma and is an official member of the International Federation of Celebrants. To learn more about the CF&I, visit www.celebrantinstitute.org
