I'm the Executive Director of the American Humanist Association - chief evangelist for humanism as a belief system that helps us believe in ourselves, honor human dignity and potential, connect to one another, and recognize our responsibility. I'm available to perform weddings, celebrations of life, and other transition ceremonies for those willing to make a donation to the American Humanist Association. As an award-winning stand-up comedian, I know how to hold the attention of a room and, when appropriate, get people laughing. As a former teacher, I know how to work with people to identify their aspirations and values and craft a ceremony that joyfully reflects your uniqueness. I'd love to help weave your humanist values into your wedding or other celebration.
