Dual Endorsements

Chaplain applicants may wish to apply for the Celebrant endorsement alongside a Chaplain endorsement.

If you are seeking dual endorsement, please be sure you understand the requirements and expectations for each individual endorsement you are applying for. You may apply for dual endorsement at no extra cost.

Dual Endorsement

Add Celebrant endorsement to your Chaplain endorsement.
  • No additional cost
  • Solemnize marriages
  • Perform other humanist ceremonies
If you are a new applicant to The Humanist Society, you will be able to add the Celebrant endorsement during your Chaplain application.

If you are renewing your Chaplain endorsement, you can add the Celebrant endorsement during your renewal application.

If you are not currently up for renewal, please follow the Celebrant application process to add the Celebrant endorsement.
